2) Conventions of a Music Advert - Rihanna Loud

Unlike the Florence + The Machine music advertisement, this advert does not have as many conventions on it. However, I have previously studied the Rihanna - Loud digipak and it all works together very well via the choice of colour scheme and fonts.

This is the image of the artists name which is placed at the top of the music advert. It is also written in capital letters and a white font against a red background which makes it seem more appealing to the audience by drawing their attention.

This is the main image used on the music advert, which is the artist herself posed with red hair and a flower in between her fingers. The red promotes the loudness of her album and the flower could portray innocence meaning she has less upbeat songs.

This is the title of the album which is placed towards the bottom of the music advert, it is shown to be in a white font in capital letters, again like the name of the artist is. This shows a continuous schemes through the advert.

The front cover of the album is shown in the bottom right hand corner which promotes what it is going to look like, so that the audience understand what they are looking for when it comes to purchasing.

Additonal information is always great to have on a music advert to draw the audiences attention in even more, in this case it's telling us that the album is out now and also telling us what songs are on the album. If the audience like the songs this will encourage them to buy the album.
